Rock Star Futa Cursed on a Cruise by Jocelyn Saragona (futa bisexual succubus)

The Demon Rocker Zarah is a three book series from the erotic pen of Jocelyn Saragona that penetrates the veil of urban fantasy with some over-the-top futa erotica - and more than a little supernatural horror. It is a series with well-developed characters, a real plot, and plenty of magic and mystery to accompany the erotic elements, making it a fabulous read.

Group fun with my Rockstar Futa, the second book in the series, was a surprisingly down-to-earth tale after the mind-controlling magical excess of Rocked by the Demon Futa, but it was still a fun read that demonstrated Jocelyn's talent for crafting convincing relationships and realistic interpersonal drama. Now, with Rock Star Futa Cursed on a Cruise, she merges those two aspects, returning us to a story that's dripping with supernatural horror, but which has some fantastically complex personal relationships at its heart.

This is one of those stories where I want to be really cautious what I say about the plot, because it is full of twists and turns and shocking reveals that I am certain Zarah would severely punish me for revealing. There were multiple occasions where I was left clutching my e-reader, begging Jocelyn not to go there, not to do that, and to please not let that character be the villain. There are not too many reads that are erotically and emotionally exhausting at the same time, but this is one of them!

What I do want to talk about, at least a little bit, is the relationship triangle between Zarah, Kayla, and Morgan, which is absolutely breathtaking in its sorrow and its sexuality. Through these three characters, Jocelyn deftly explores themes of power, submission, love, and lust. She reminds us that succubi are, by definition, demonic beings, and that no matter how erotic the result, their power to compel and enslave is something that can be brutally abused. Kayla is damaged, nearly broken by her past experience with a succubus, and Morgan distrusts Zarah because of it . . . but the cracks in her mind and the wounds in her soul may just be what saves the day.

Rock Star Futa Cursed on a Cruise gets back to the magical dangers of the first book, but delves even deeper into the darkness. Stranded on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean, with a murderous succubus on board, dead bodies in the hallways, and something magical that is interfering with Zarah's power, we are on edge from beginning to end. There are more than a few surprises here for fans of the series, but it is also a self-contained story that new readers can enjoy without feeling lost. It is, far and away, the best book of the series, and one that reminds me I need to get off my pretty pantied butt catch up with the Succubus int the Sorority series while we wait for more Zarah!

Hi, I'm Jocelyn. Geek, philosophia, And femme fatale. I stumbled into erotica thru a free writing session in college. Two characters insisted on getting intimate right in front of me. I wrote a few stories, shared them, and was surprised by how much people enjoyed them. My stories portray confident women and the men and women who love them. They are always plot driven. I love the college setting, and write new adult stories. Erotica helped me overcome shyness and get comfortable with my own sexuality. Hope you like it too.
