Arabian Nights by Shadoman (Comics Gay Transformation Chastity)

Once again gracing the bookshelf is the wonderful Shadoman, who has returned with a new helping of illustrated delights, once again courtesy of Amazing Transformation Comics.

Arabian Nights is an erotic adventure into the world of transformation, complete with a semi-romantic exploration of life as an auctioned slave. In a unique twist for Shadoman, the comic actually opens with the end of a gay romance, negating the need for any sort of hypnosis, brainwashing, or erotic discovery.

Alone and heartbroken, Dana is captured and enslaved by human traffickers, sold at auction, and forced to become part of some mysterious experiment. As messed up as the situation is, he actually welcomes whatever is to come, hoping it will erase memories of losing the love of his life. When Dana awakes as a woman she's shocked, but can't argue with the nurse's observation that, as a gay man in a woman's body, she's likely to be more popular than their straight subjects.

With Dana are two other captives, one who welcomes her new body, having always thought of herself as female, and one who is terrified of having to entertain men. They make an interesting threesome, and their first reactions to being taken by men are alternately sweet, shy, and sexy, with one hoping it gets better, one hating it, and one loving it. The twist in the second half shouldn't come as any surprise, but that doesn't make it any less delicious, and Shadoman does a lovely job of teasing the reader, making us wait for the moment of truth.

As always, a Shadoman comic is a visual delight as well as a narrative one. The backgrounds are wonderfully detailed, and the characters erotically rendered, especially the catsuit-clad captors and jeweled slave girls. Dana's transformation is beautifully rendered, and the use of chastity devices is delightful, especially the electro-shock versions. Those three pages of the new girls being introduced to their first men, all in the same position, with the same point-of-view, but very different body language and facial expression are worth the read alone!

Shadoman is a CG artist who enjoys telling stories through 3D comic art. Originally from the Mid-west, he now resides in Southern California. He is a Viet-Nam vet in his mid-60’s, married to a wonderful gal who is also his best friend and text editor. A film buff with an extensive library, it was his passion for film as a young teen that was his vehicle to escape and expand his own creative mind and become a storyteller.
